In honor of the upcoming Christmas season, and to satisfy the inquiries made by various family members, we, the Buchanan Family of WI, SD, WI, WI, ND, FL and OR (or wherever Seth may be these days), form the "Ever Expanding Buchanan Blogarithm" (thanks be to Jake for this aptly named locale).
I've often thought, especially since migrating to the eastern seaboard, that it would be "very fine" (that was in honor of Mat), if we could get a digest/blog going whereby we can all share stories, insights, updates, photos, goings-and-comings and anything in between. I would guess that none of us really "know" each other that well - being that we are separated by hundreds of miles and only see each other once or twice a year.
Whether this works or not will be a function of everybody's participation - good or bad. I fully expect Seth to break his vow of silence and be an active member, even if he rarely checks his voice or e-mails...and, even rarer, if he actually replies. This will give us all a non-threatening way to send quick updates and news/notes or stories...about the kids, personal hobbies, endeavors, or whatever it may be.
So, enjoy and may your posts multiply like little fruit flies on a rotten banana!

way to go TB ... the name sounds like something that you would call one of your 82 fantasy teams ...
we're doing Cubscouts tonight ... Garrett was the top seller this year in the popcorn selling fundraiser and he'll get his award from the pack ... he'll end up with a total of over $175.00 in Walmart gift cards ... he sold just over $1,800 in popcorn ...
that's the heighth of redneck livin', what could be better than a gift card to walmart?
Aaron, How on earth did Garrett sell so much in popcorn? How much did dad buy? or did he actually get other people to buy some too
you we true and almost complete neckers ... i just sat an old lawn mower and 2 old bikes out in the front yard ... all we need now is a rusty mercury on blocks and an appliance out there and we're complete ...
Garrett sold $600-$700 going door-to-door ... the rest was sold to family, co-workers, church friends, etc. ... stuff that his Mom & Dad helped out with ...
what's the poor fella going to buy at wal-mart? some age old PHO candy?
PS...I'm sure we can find a rusted out Mercury for you...and park it on the lawn on a couple of cinder blocks.
PS...we need to get Seth, Berb/A-Train and Mom/Dad to sign up. I don't have Seth's contact info...he always ignores me when I call/email.
Spud doesn't usually reply to anything other than Holley ...
what's with the A-Train???
